Yes this used to be the post about the pig roast but I'm changing it to something that is more pertinent to the class. Hmm... I never said anything about the Arabian Nights so here it goes.
First off is anyone else pretty disappointed in the quality of the female characters in this book. I understand that it was written a long time ago, but every woman in it is a schemer or unfaithful. And as Jason & Medina pointed out, the sister is always there at bed time, watching ... is it just me or is that creepy?
Also, did anyone else find this book to be repetitive?
